Youth Work

Youth Work at City Gateway provides a safe and engaging environment for Young People to develop their confidence and individual skillsets. Through tailored and accredited programmes they are able to unlock their potential and apply themselves further through placements and employment.

  • City Gateway provides an excellent environment for service users to meet new people and develop lasting friendships with others who are in the same stage of life.*
  • Participating in courses helps service users improve their self-confidence and develop the tools they need to approach life’s challenges. While at City Gateway, they can establish good habits that will make their lives easier and improve the overall health and well-being for themselves and their families.*

youth work

We run youth services at various sites across the City of London. Our youth centres are accessible to everyone, with qualified staff to support young people. We also run a number of specialised programmes for young people with special needs, looking at issues that affect them.

City of London

We run youth services in the City of London for 10 to 19 year olds every Monday, Thursday and Friday. Alongside drop-in youth work, we also offer residential trips throughout the year. We work at several sites within the City.

City of London Time Credits works in partnership with City Gateway to encourage young people to design and shape services that fit their needs. As a 'thank you', for every hour a young person gives to planning services, they will earn a time credit which can be spent locally on activites and services of others in the network.

We run PS4 tournaments, Fusball, table tennis, pool, poker (you'll be amazed at the life skills you'll learn through this but don't worry, we don't use real money), a chill out zone, CV surgeries (in partnership with Prospects) to help you think about your future and much more.
