City Gateway has an enviable track record of working with corporate partners and has developed a tried and tested model to facilitate corporate volunteering opportunities. We understand what it takes to provide a good volunteering experience for you and your organisation, as well as for our trainees.
Through volunteering you not only help to inspire, but also to develop individuals’ employability skills. Each volunteering session focuses on developing a range of soft skills that include fact-finding, problem solving, presentation, communication and teamwork skills.
Through your involvement you will experience first-hand how individuals with great potential, can develop the skills that are required to be successful in their lives, their community and the work place.
How the Volunteering process works:
- City Gateway manages the volunteer process, providing session plans to our volunteer organisations in advance. All you have to do is sign-up.
- We strive to make these sessions as easy to organise as possible. To that end, details like session locations and times can be flexible to suit particular requirements.
- You can contact us at any stage to arrange a volunteering session, or to discuss alternative ways you would like to get involved.
