What We Do
We work on the belief that we can enhance a person's ability to transition and navigate life's challenges more effectively through early intervention. By prioritising our focus on working with children, young people and women, we believe we can achieve the greatest long-term impact to affect societal change; improve livelihoods; and generate substantial savings to the taxpayer and wider economy.
New research shows that once young people are impacted from damaging social challenges, such as mental health problems, going into care, unemplyment and crime, the costs to Government rise to almost £17 billion a year
We believe that transformation is possible. Overcoming barriers is a central part of our narrative, and is a message we want to continually project to our staff and cervice users alike.
ENTHUSIASM AND BELIEF
An enemy of hope is apathy; believing that things will never change. We want to imbue every part of our organisational landscape with enthusiasm and belief that change is possible. This doesn't mean we ignore the challenges, but that we bring a healthy dose of enthusiasm to the challenges we face, knowing that we have the ability to lift the heads of those around us.
In order to grow and develop as leaders, we all need to be given the chance to take ownership. This means taking responsibility and giving responsibility to others, empowering individuals to change their own lives.
Our enabler philosophy centres around a core belief that every individual we work with is talented and has something unique to offer. We passionately believe the best in every individual, regardless of their starting point.
